I’m Andreas Trolf—a writer, showrunner, director, and content strategist who tells stories that connect, entertain, and perform. Whether I’m leading a team of writers, animators, and voice actors or crafting voice-driven branded content, my work is rooted in voice, empathy, structure, and clarity—with enough weirdness to make it stand out.
I’m the co-creator and was head writer of Sanjay and Craig, Nickelodeon’s Emmy-nominated animated kids series, as well as the showrunner Adult Swim’s cult hit Tigtone. I've also developed other original TV projects with Amazon Studios, directed music videos for bands like Datarock, The Fresh + Onlys, and Papercuts, and collaborated with billion-dollar brands like Vans, adidas, and Sub Pop on activations and campaigns.
My fiction and essays have been widely published, appearing in McSweeney’s, The Cincinnati Review, Chicago Quarterly Review, The Florida Review, Joyland and elsewhere, as well as in the anthology Life and Limb (Soft Skull Press). My short films have screened at various festivals, both in the US and internationally.
With experience that spans creative direction, SEO-focused content, performance marketing, and narrative world building, I thrive in hybrid spaces—where storytelling meets strategy, and where ideas move fast. I’m always looking for like-minded collaborators who want to take the big swings on stories that stick.
